Ukraine – Banks have issued 1.47 billion UAH of loans under Affordable M…

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Licensed banks have signed 1,723 loan agreements for a total amount of UAH 1.47 billion under the government program “7% Affordable Mortgage”, reports Ukrinform with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Finance.

“As of February 17 of the current year, authorized banks have signed 1,723 loan agreements worth 1.472 billion UAH under the government program “7% Affordable Mortgage”, both on the primary (19.9%) and secondary (80.1%) markets”, we read. The report.

In total, banks received 2,364 loan applications worth UAH 2,033 million (20.6% in the primary market and 79.4% in the secondary market).

Twenty-five regions and the city of Kiev were involved in this programme. Last week, the most active borrowers were registered in Kyiv region (31.66%), Kyiv city (27.86%), Lviv region (6.62%), Kharkiv region ( 5.51%) and the Volyn region (3.75%).

No less than 22 licensed banks participate in the program.

As Ukrinform reports, the government program “7% Affordable Mortgage” was launched on the initiative of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on March 1, 2021.
