Orange County Included in D-SNAP Benefits Program Phase Two

Orange County, Florida. – Residents of Orange County can now apply for the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP). The second phase opened today, Monday October 17, for Flagler, Highlands, Manatee, Orange, Pinellas and St. Johns counties. D-SNAP is providing food assistance to individuals and families impacted by Hurricane Ian who are not currently receiving food assistance benefits through the regular Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP).
Pre-registration is required for all claimants seeking to qualify for benefits. Candidates can then conduct a phone interview through the D-SNAP call center or come to a D-SNAP event for an on-site interview. Telephone interviews are strongly encouraged to help expedite service to eligible households. On-site D-SNAP event dates and Orange County location to be announced shortly.
