In a recent coverage of VogueParker spoke of the “misogynistic chatter” that she and her co-stars faced that “would never happen. About. A. Man.”

“’Gray hair gray hair gray hair. Does she have gray hair?’” Parker said of the comments. “I am sitting with Andy cohen and he’s got a head full of gray hair, and he’s exquisite. Why is it all right for him? I don’t know what to tell you people! Especially on social networks. Everyone has something to say. “She has too many wrinkles, she does not have enough wrinkles.” It almost feels like people don’t want us to be completely okay with where we are, as if they almost appreciate that we are pained for who we are today, that we choose to grow old. naturally and not looking perfect, or doing something if that makes you feel better. I know what I look like. I do not have a choice. What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?”

Davis said on Today she and her comrades “saw it coming”.

“Although I have to say it still hurts sometimes… Sarah and I are in a media blackout right now. Cynthia is tougher and she isn’t. So we’re like, ‘You tell us later, okay? ‘”she said. “You know, we’ve had paparazzi with us all day. And we kept thinking, ‘Why don’t they go? They’ve got it.’ And I think, don’t be offended, guys aren’t mad at me, but they were expecting a bad shot. You know what I mean? So, like, 12 hours of paparazzi for a bad shot so they can say bad, it’s frustrating. “
